How do we achieve this?

The first step is to have a Good Website:

  • responsive website design, looks good on mobile devices
  • use WordPress as your design platform
  • apply search engine optimisation SEO
  • include a blog with questions and answers about your product or service
  • provide social proof to your customers

The website should be responsive which means it looks good on mobile devices – A report in 2013 puts South Africa’s smartphone users at 20 million, showing growth of 32%. This means there is a good chance that your prospective customers are browsing you site on their smart phones.

WordPress websites are extremely flexible and allow one to create beautiful, modern websites with great functionality. But more importantly WordPress is the most user friendly website content management platform or CMS there is – it takes only minutes to learn how to update content and images on your website.

Search Engine Optimisation. 9 out of 10 of your prospective customers are searching for your services via Google – but whose websites are they finding, yours or your competitors? Search Engine Optimisation SEO is the process of increasing the amount of visitors to your site by improving the content, images and links on your website  SEO is very complicated and we do not expect small business owners to spend vast amounts of time learning it – however it is important that you know how it can help you.
